Claire Wills is a contemporary artist working in mixed media with colourful and vibrant landscapes of highland scenes, her work style varies between painting and textiles with scale and smaller pieces available. She creates images that demand attention and are full of a unique combination of pattern, texture, colour, nature and nostalgia, each work possessing an energy of a time and place in her memory.

Her latest project "Guiding Light", she seeks to capture the essence of Scottish lighthouses, which are explored in person and captured in photographs. The rugged texture of the rocks, endless horizon, the rythmic sound of the waves, the light dancing on the water and the salty sea air all fuel her creativity and immerse her fully in the moment.
