Lesley Walker
Lesley graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone in the 1980’s and spent 30 years teaching art and textiles in London and Hertfordshire before moving to the Lancashire Ribble Valley. Her creative process was influenced by the surrounding landscape and the history of the textile industry.
She began experimenting with printmaking, textiles and ceramics and the result is her ceramic flower bobbins, evoking memories of childhood picking posies of wildflowers. Lesley’s ancient typewriter is used to add the words and poetry.
